MARG Cooks Ji Dan Gung | SIDEWALK HANGOUTS

My Role: Videographer & Editor

Produced for the Sidewalk Talk YouTube channel, this cozy kitchen hangout invited indie pop artist MARG to the kitchen table for a shared meal and a deeper look into her story. Filmed in the host, Lara Santos’s home, this video blends a relaxed cooking session with a candid conversation about identity, creativity, and growth. Over a mug of ji dan gung (a comforting egg and rice dish her mother often prepared for her), MARG reflects on her global upbringing across South Carolina, China, Argentina, and California, and how it has shaped her evolving sound.

As videographer and editor, I helped bring out the easygoing, communal energy of the shoot.
